Why should YOU be a part of the Tour?
Are you struggling to market your film and want help getting the word out about it? Are you interested in having your film shown to an international audience? If so, the Film Fringe Tour is right for you! While most film festivals show films in only one city, our unique Tour travels to three cities internationally. It is not based in one location. We feel this is the best way to promote new work in an interesting way that has not been done before.
We try to support applicants in three ways.
Application Costs - We keep them low to ensure that everyone who wants to apply can do so easily.
Marketing - We do all marketing and promotions for the Tour and the films that are part of the Tour. After you, as an applicant, fill out the required information, we take it from there! At each Fringe festival, we will have posters and flyers for the Tour as well as a description in each Fringe program. We do our best to fill the seats at your screening and get the word out to as many people as possible.
International Audiences - Because the Tour attends Fringe festivals that are in the US and abroad, your film will be seen by an international audience. While the Hollywood and Philadelphia Fringe festivals attract large audiences, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest performing arts festival in the world. In 2011, it sold over 1.8 million tickets to viewers from over 20 countries. It not only attracts people from the US and UK, but from all over. Your film won't get a more diverse audience than at these festivals!
